Paddle and Rally · A paddle sports publication

Know your level.
Play better ball.

Every argument in pickleball starts with a number nobody can prove: your level. Paddle and Rally starts there too, then does the rest of the math honestly: what your level means for drills, paddles, tournament entries, and trips, and what the next sport over the net, padel, is about to do in the US. No hype, no lab we do not have, no rating we cannot show our work for.

Four doors, one clubhouse

Pickleball is the main door because that is where the players are. The other doors are labeled with what is actually behind them today, not what a brochure would promise.

The hub: level pathways, drills, gear slices, injury-aware play for the 40 to 60 core, and tournament costs, all keyed to the level you actually are.

Gear and Gifts

The shop front: apparel and gifts for the people who play, designed for club identity first (your town, your club, your doubles partner). The first drop is in production now; the gear guides it sits beside are being written in the open, in the hub.

Pickleball Travel

Camps that sell out, resorts with real court counts, and what a tournament season actually costs, priced the way we price everything: total cost, on the page. The first guides are in production; this door opens with them, not before.

Padel

The next wave, covered early and honestly: what padel is, how it differs from pickleball, and where the US game actually stands. Small section, on purpose. It grows as the sport does.

The wedge

Your level is the key to everything else

Drills, paddles, tournament brackets, even who you should be playing on Tuesday: all of it is indexed to your level, and most players are working from a guess or a generous friend. The Skill Rating Estimator asks 14 questions about observable shots, never about how good you feel, and returns an estimated level on the public 2.0 to 5.0 scale with a confidence band, the two skills holding you down, and the drill for each. The math is printed under the tool. Argue with it; that is what it is for.
